Camping isn’t just about sleeping in a tent. It’s about adventure, passing the night in a game reserve and being woken by the noises of the African bush. It’s an activity that stimulates all of your senses and most of your emotions.
Even for those who prefer their comforts, we recommend spending a night or two camping in a national park. There’s the campfire, the grunts of nocturnal predators, the magnificent African night sky and the spectacular morning chorus.
Camping is permitted in nearly all of the national parks of Uganda and Tanzania and some parks even provide luxury tents. Try a full camping safari or just take a night to try it out.
